We partner with other firms at times for project work. And sometimes those partnerships lead to something unique, such as a mobile game where you get to wax the hair off a monkey.

The Naked Monkey is a central Indiana “waxing spa & more” company, who is a client of Cogent Software. They were looking to create a fun little “Simon Says” style game to entertain and reward customers for playing.

We were given the art and the idea, and brought the game to life for both Android and iOS platforms. The game itself is following the hair removal pattern after it flashes on the screen, and mimicking the pattern back. Once you meet the preset pattern goal, you get rewarded with a coupon from the salon. We designed the coupon functionality to be manageable outside the app, to streamline the process and not have to resubmit the app to the corresponding app stores.
