When a local exotic animal rescue needed help getting the word out about an upcoming fundraiser, we were more than happy to volunteer a week of our time using social media to spread the word. The event was so successful, as their highest grossing fundraiser to date, that it turned into much more.
Exotic Animal Rescue and Pet Sanctuary (EARPS, Inc.) rescues and adopts exotic animals, pocket pets, and non-traditional pets in Indiana and the surrounding areas, including the ferrets and rabbit we adopted last year. They were looking for a way to increase exposure and adoptions, and we are honored to use our talents as a part of their rescue efforts.
We moved their website to WordPress, where longtime rescue residents are now featured weekly, and revamped their social media approach. We currently plan editorial calendars, create a weekly social strategy, and manage content creation for their blog and Facebook page. In the first three months, we increased Page Likes by 10% and tripled their Reach and Reactions, resulting in double the average number of adoptions.
