We created Studio 27 as a way to work together by combining our talents and interests to be Forces for Good on the Internet™. We met at Ball State University and have been married for nearly 19 years. With five kids and several pets, our time together was limited. We were looking for a way to spend more time with each other right around when Spencer was looking for a new job.

With Spencer’s degree in computer science and Heather’s background in blogging and social media, Studio 27 was our perfect solution. The business was built as a way to combine web and mobile development with content strategy to create solutions that put the client’s story first. The two of us work together at the start of each project to help our clients decide how they want to tell their story and the best way to present it to the world.

Sometimes, that means creating a mobile-friendly website to showcase products and portfolios. Sometimes, it’s designing a mobile app that puts a business in their customers’ pockets. Sometimes, it is strategizing with a client to share their story through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other relevant social platforms.
